New Student Registration
New student registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year. To register for kindergarten, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2027 (or by December 1, 2027 with a waiver). Please fill out the New Student Enrollment Form below and send to eschwind@northportps.org or by mail to

Open Enrollment
2026-2027 Northport Public School K-12 Enrollment for non-resident pupils is open April 24, 2026 - May 8, 2026. Interested families need to complete an enrollment form and email it to eschwind@northportps.org or mail it to Northport Public School, 104 S Wings St. Northport, MI 49670. If all spots are not filled by the May 8th deadline, open enrollment will continue until Friday, September 11, 2026 or until a class size reaches 18, whichever comes first.
Enrollment per grade is capped at 18 students. If the number of applicants, combined with current students, exceeds 18, a random lottery draw will be held to determine which non-resident applicants are enrolled.
