Hoop House

The hoop house is operated by grades k-5 through the Elementary STEM lab, and by the after-school Science Club. The students plant, tend, and harvest several varieties of fruits, vegetables and herbs. The students learn about the needs of plants, the process of photosynthesis, how to compost plant material, and strategies for keeping pests away.  Harvest time includes taste tests to see which produce is their favorite! All staff members, students, and their families are welcome to participate!
