Elementary STEM

Our Elementary STEM Lab provides a central location where teachers bring their students to engage in a variety of fun, in-depth, and sometimes messy STEM related activities. Working under the direction of the classroom teachers, our STEM Lab facilitator, Karen Trolenberg, sets up the lab before students arrive, assists the teacher and students as needed, cleans up the lab after the students leave and turns it over for the next group of students. This is a real time saver for teachers, and it gives students more time to engage in meaningful hands-on learning experiences. STEM Lab activities also include field trips, long term projects and real-world data collection.
